Laudato Si’ Prayer Service

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In preparation for the launch of the “Laudato Si’ Action Platform, in unity with Pope Francis and faithful to our commitment as a Congregation to live communion with Creation, the SSpS General Administration is publishing this prayer service that can be prayed in communities with the sisters, in institutions and with individuals and groups who participate in the SSpS mission.

The Prayer Service, prepared by Sr Milagros Sandoval, South Philippines Province, and translated into Spanish by Sr Emmie Vas, Mexico Region, puts us in touch with the objectives proposed by the Action Platform to overcome the ecological crisis which threatens Planet Earth:

1. Response to the Cry of the Earth,
2. Response to the Cry of the Poor,
3. Ecological Economics,
4. Adoption of Simple Lifestyles,
5. Ecological Education,
6. Ecological Spirituality, and
7. Emphasis on Community involvement and participatory action.
